Poreia O.E (A. and B. Panagiotidou O.E)

Poreia O.E (A. and B. Panagiotidou O.E) is a family bussiness in Drama which started operating in 1996 dealing with wholesale and distribution of sugar confectionery. Today the company has a range of grocery and it services about 900 customers in Drama, Kavala, Serres and Xanthi.

We own 3,500 products and a fleet of 10 vehicles, and we are able to cover our customers’ needs providing branded standardized foods, drinks, office supplies and detergents being a firm, authoritative and certified contractor.

Progress

2013

In 2013 the business headquarters moved to larger facilities, 1000m2 in the 4th km of Drama-Kavala and the owners’ children took over. This new generation’s goal was to maintain and increase not only the turnover but also the number of customers in spite of the harsh financial setting. The company improved its computing system and included an electronic way of placing orders so as to reach its goals. Cooperation started with new tourism market (e.g Thassos) and rearrangement of the range of the products so as the company to be appropriate for HO.RE.CA market. Today the range of products is so wide that it doesn’t only include sugary confectionery but also every product a mini market needs except for goods that need to be in a refrigerator.

2020

The company’s setup achieved new collaborations and made the old ones even better. In 2020 Poreia O.E started cooperating with ION A.E as an exclusive contractor in Drama, Kavala and Serres regarding the retention and distribution of its products.

In order this cooperation to be achieved the company created a 200m2 cooling store and converted its trucks to refrigerated ones. The use of WMS aimed at the best service of our customers and indeed the process of logistics operates smoothly and effectively.
We have a collaboration with the following companies for the districts of Drama, Kavala and the island of Thassos: ΙΟΝ ΑΕ, Eurohartiki ΑΕΒΕ(Endless), Violanda Α.Ε, Ohonos Snack ΑΒΕΕ, PERFETTI VΑΝ ΜΕLLΕ ΕΛΛΑΣ ΜΟΝΟ/ΠΗ Α.Ε., GREEN COLA HELLAS ΑΕ, ΛΟΥΞ ΜΑΡΛΑΦΕΚΑΣ Α.Β.Ε.Ε., MAX SPORT HELLAS S.RΕ.

Today

The company effectively collaborates with over 900 customers (mini markets, kiosks, cafeterias, hotels, restaurants etc.) in Drama, Kavala, Xanthi and Serres while after public tender it has conducted a contract for the supply of goods to Military stations in Drama and other smaller districts. Our six sellers place the orders aνd delivery is conducted the next day.
There are 10 vehicles and 2 forklifts to service the above. The fleet of our cars and tools is continuously improved.
